In the clip, an eagle hunting a brown snake is having an uncompromising confrontation with a jungle cobra. This snake is native to Africa and is also the longest snake in the cobra genus with a length of up to 3.1m.
It is the most common bite of the African cobra and can cause death in 30-120 minutes if left untreated.
However, when facing enemies, cobras are quite shy and do not dare to attack. Meanwhile, after a while of probing the opponent, the eagle used its sharp talons and hard beak to launch a finishing blow to the cobra.
The brown snake eagle is a fairly large bird of prey in the falcon family, common throughout western, eastern and southern Africa. True to its name, the brown snake-hunting eagle is considered a natural enemy, the terror of many snakes, including venomous ones.
All snake eagles are able to defend themselves against bites with thick skins on their feet. Particularly for the brown snake eagle, it is somewhat larger and stronger than other snake eagles. In addition to snakes, they also hunt lizards, birds or some other small mammals.
Brown snake eagles are not on the endangered list, however, they have a relatively short lifespan, only 7-10 years.
