But don’t jump to conclusions just yet. Because the giant eel is a fish created by an artist named Rian Jambrong. Rian is a Sukabumi-based artist who enjoys creating handicrafts oᴜt of bamboo, wood, and other materials.
The artist demonstrates the process of creating giant eels on his YouTube channel, Jambrong 99. He began by arranging the river stones in ascending order of size from small to large. The stones are fashioned into the fish’s body.
The stones that have been arranged are then covered with clay to protect the rocкs. To make it more realistic, the ground was leveed and sculted. Rian also used the clay to make fish faces. The inserts on the fish are also designed to look like their original shae.
The 6-minute video has been viewed over 1.1 million times. The work of the giant eel was met with a flood of praise from netizens who witnessed it. Sukabumi also made complimentary remarks to the artist.
