The African wild buffalo is a very strong herbivore, when an adult individual can be up to 1.5 meters tall and weigh 900kg. However, these numbers do not say much when they have to confront hunters with large numbers and methodical tactics like wild dogs.
In a dramatic video recording the encounter between these two animals, it can be seen that even though the wild buffalo is mature and healthy, it cannot create much surprise in front of mischievous hunters.
Seeing the poor buffalo being rounded up, a few of its friends returned with the intention of helping. But the dogs immediately separated into two groups. While one group continues to cling to its prey, the rest rush forward to prevent any help.
Confronted with a small but cunning and cunning enemy, the powerful wild buffalo was soon defeated and lay dead in the middle of the wild field.
However, it can be seen that their hunting tactics have created a significant difference, especially when comparing the size difference between the two animals.
