Extremely intelligent and highly social, baboons live and move in groups. They communicate with each other by calling. With their large teeth and strong limbs, baboons are formidable opponents to most animals their size.
With terrifying force, crocodiles can easily crush the bones and flesh of their prey, leaving them seriously injured and unable to run away. However, in this hunt, the crocodile was not lucky.
In the clip, a group of baboons are on the shore drinking water when a juvenile crocodile appears. Realizing that delicious prey was right in front of him, the swamp killer immediately approached, grabbed a young male baboon, then pulled it from the shore and tried to drown it.
Because the water hole was shallow and the baboon was very strong, it struggled to keep its head above the water. After about 20 minutes, the crocodile had to come up to breathe. Taking this opportunity, the baboon pulled the crocodile close to the shore.
Seeing this, the whole group of baboons immediately rushed to attack to rescue their fellow. Having been beaten, the crocodile immediately released the baboon and retreated into the water.
