Oh, what a blessing it is to be asked to be there when a life is being brought into the world. I was absolutely beside myself honored when Brett, one of my dearest friends, asked me if I would be there to support and photograph her birth. Of course, I was thrilled and the wait began. Mid day Brett messaged me saying her ‘water may or may not have broken’. I was so excited, I knew right then and there it was go time. I headed over to Brett’s house later in the day, when she was confident that labor had begun. We sat in her house and then headed over to the Natural Birthing Center just a few short hours later, Brett, Scott (her husband) and her little girl Levi, welcomed Knox earthisde about two hours later, just crossing into October 12, 2016. Knox came in weighing 10 lbs. 7 oz. and 21 inches long. (Huge!! This mama is amazing, I know!) Brett, as one of my dearest friends, I am so beyond grateful to of been asked to document such a beautiful time in your life. Here’s a few of my favorites from your birthing session.
