Originating from Brazil, Paula embarked on photographing women in labor following the birth of her own daughter, Ingrid, who is now 17 years old.

Having had a passion for photography since her early years, the 39-year-old started working in her father’s studio at the age of 16.
Continuing a family tradition—her father, brother, and grandfather are all photographers—Paula pursued a career as a children’s photographer.
In February 2001, Paula joyfully welcomed Ingrid into the world, extending an invitation to her father to сарtᴜгe photographs of the birth.
