During November, an astonishing and unprecedented phenomenon unfolded in Yosemite National Park. The combination of exceptionally elevated water levels and powerful winds, precisely timed with the optimal hour of the day, led to the formation of a breathtaking 2,400-foot rainbow waterfall. Greg Harlow, a landscape photographer based in Utah, was fortunate to witness and immortalize this remarkable spectacle, which graced the park for a mesmerizing duration of over eight minutes.

Although it was not a planned event, Harlow had spent over three months in Yosemite last year and was lucky enough to witness this phenomenon. He was attempting to take a photo of Yosemite Falls from Glacier Point when suddenly the waterfall transformed into a rainbow, a rare occurrence that only happens at certain times of the year and under specific circumstances.
Harlow managed to capture the event in real-time video, time-lapse, and photographs from his vantage point using a 200mm lens. This breathtaking sight is a testament to the awe-inspiring beauty of nature and the unpredictable wonders it can offer.
