A shrinking world makes it easier to transmit ideas for building and decorating homes across countries, across hemispheres. We may see Asian-inspired homes built in Europe. or Western-style houses in Asia The same is true of this house in Indonesia. Instead of seeing traditional houses, Balinese gardens are arranged. Instead, we saw a modern house with a small local feel. The most striking point in front of the house was a Japanese garden that had to be looked at again and again. It is a perfect blend of Indonesianness and the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi.
